Finding Your Peace Through Creativity

When I was little, I thought that ‘to be a creative person you need to study hard and compete with others or have the whole world’s knowledge. But as I grew up I realized it was never the case.  Everyone has their creative mind and their own creativity style, but most of them never realized what they are creative at. They lack the beautiful creature of humans. Which can be used exclusively in this world.

When I say I am a creative person I don't mean by having all the ideas and productivity in mind at once. I mean, ‘I can do things in my own style and in my own way. The way that is called creativity. The path that leads me to creative thinking makes me different from others. The term I use to describe it is “creativity is when you start thinking out of the box from others And it is true in every way. Isn’t it?

Most of us don't know where our life is leading. I was too at this stage once but something that took me out of it was my creative thinking and the things I was afraid to do. Yeah, you heard it right.

There are some things we are afraid to do not because they are not related to us but because we are afraid of failing. When someone said to me that I am good at writing. or I can be a writer. I didn’t believe it at first. but deep down I knew it. People were praising my writing and I was enjoying it too. But I didn't think of it as my profession or as if I can say I am a writer. Because I was afraid that I wouldn't make it. What if I failed? So I dropped this idea and tried other things. The things I never liked. i.e. teaching, doing a job, sitting all day for nothing, things that people are running behind. I never liked it. But when I started writing, it gave me that relaxation, the feeling of joy and peace.

Now you must be thinking, where was that creative thinking in it? Calm down, let me tell you.

Here is the thing i knew about my creativity

Whenever I begin to write my mind starts running at its highest speed. Ideas came like a flow in a river. I never ran out of ideas. Whenever I begin to do something, I always think of doing the best out of it. And when I did it always went beyond my expectations.

When I thought I should try something else. I could be better at that, but it was worse than I thought. I tried to take some government exams, but it turned out I couldn't sit in an office all day just for that one job every single day. So, I dropped this idea.

I explored some more things but nothing worked out. And things I tried never gave me that satisfaction that writing does. so , I switched to writing again. But this time I didn’t care about failing. I didn’t care about what others will think or they will ever care what I am doing. I only cared about my words, about what I am writing and why I am writing. This time I will write for myself.

What I want to say here is “there will be things or maybe dozens of things that won’t gonna work out for you. But all you have to do is not stop exploring and finding your peace. The day you find peace and joy in something, you’ll know that will be your destiny.

A work that you can do all day without any stress or dissatisfaction. The work that makes you feel seen or makes you feel yourself. You can indulge in that the whole you.

In my whole life, whenever someone asks me what I want to become, the only answer I give them is that I am still exploring. Even though they said you should decide it earlier or before your school ends, I never did. Because I was founding my peace. I didn’t find writing, writing found me. And I am grateful it found me at the right time and at the right place.

Never stop exploring until you find ‘YOU’ in your niche. That completes you. We all have creativity in ourselves but all we have to do is to find it. Nobody else gonna tell you what you are good at, it's only you. It is only you who can make your life creative and take advantage of it as much as you can. Creativity comes with exploring, taking risks, trying the hardest, the easiest, it comes with practical and in trying things out. And you are the only one who can do this. You have that power to take your creativity out of your head and put that in real life.
